Ítem Acceso abierto Stress and job performance of nursing staff in the surgical area of a private clinic in Lima, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-07-21) Arteaga Quispe, Diana; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioObjective: To determine the relationship between stress and work performance of nursing personnel in the surgical area. Methodology: The method will be hypothetical/deductive, quantitative approach, applied type and non-experimental correlational cross-sectional design. The population will be made up of 80 nursing professionals working in the Surgical Center of a clinic in Lima. The sample will be a census sample due to its small population. Two instruments will be used for data collection: Stress Scale Questionnaire (The Nursing Stress Scale) and a Likert Scale to measure job performance. The validity and reliability of these instruments are found in a Peruvian study of the year 2020, however, once the information is collected, both variables will be contrasted and processed in the SPSS V26 statistical program, obtaining frequency tables, double-entry tables and/or graphs. Likewise, the hypotheses will be contrasted with the Spearman's Rho Correlation Statistical Test, with a significance level determined at a significance level of p < 0.05.
