Publicación Acceso abierto Estrés y calidad de vida laboral en personal del servicio de ginecoobstetricia del hospital nacional Docente Madre Niño San Bartolomé, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-03-08) Asán Velásquez, María del Pilar; Maguiña Palma, Misael EriksonThe objective of the study was to determine the relationship between stress and the quality of work life in staff of the obstetrics and gynecology service of the Hospital Nacional Docente Madre Niño San Bartolomé, 2021. Material and method. Non-experimental design, correlational level, and cross-sectional study, which had a sample made up of 152 health professionals from the referred health facility, selected by random sampling. Two virtual instruments were applied: the Perceived Stress Scale (EEP-10) and the CVT-Gohisalo questionnaire, short version for the quality of work life. Results. Most of the professionals surveyed were obstetricians (55.3%), were appointed (71.1%) and had more than 21 years of service (25.0%). The presence of stress was found in 62.5% of them, followed by a very high presence of stress in 23.7%. In relation to the quality of working life, 62.5% were found to have a medium level. The Spearman correlation test showed that the quality of work life has a low, inverse and significant relationship with stress (ρ = -0.188) and with the perception of stress dimension (ρ = -0.183). Conclusion. The workers of the OB / GYN service who presented greater stress had a lower quality of work life.
