    Uso de fórmulas magistrales en pacientes dermatológicos que acuden a la farmacia universal Cercado de Lima 2023

    The objective of this study was to analyze the use of compounded medications in dermatological patients attending the Farmacia Universal in Cercado de Lima in 2023. The methodology employed was a deductive, quantitative, applied approach, with an observational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design. A total of 420 prescriptions were analyzed, representing a population of dermatological prescriptions from the Farmacia Universal in Cercado de Lima. Data were collected using a data collection form. The results showed that, according to age, the highest frequency was found in the 30-59 age range (46.7%), and the most frequent sex was female (56.2%). Of the 420 prescriptions, the highest percentage of active ingredients was 10% urea, representing 7.2% of the total 1080 active ingredients. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical form The most frequent prescription is the cream, representing 51%, and for facial use it represents 51.4%. Furthermore, the most frequent diagnosis is acne, representing 20% ​​of a total of 420 prescriptions. It was concluded that users of compounded medications are in the 30-59 age range, with a greater predominance of females. The active ingredient, 10% urea, and the pharmaceutical form, cream, were the most frequently prescribed. The indication was for the face, and the most frequent diagnosis was acne.
