The methodology employed was a deductive, quantitative, applied approach, with an observational, non-experimental, and cross-sectional design. A total of 420 prescriptions were analyzed, representing a population of dermatological prescriptions from the Farmacia Universal in Cercado de Lima. Data were collected using a data collection form. The results showed that, according to age, the highest frequency was found in the 30-59 age range (46.7%), and the most frequent sex was female (56.2%). Of the 420 prescriptions, the highest percentage of active ingredients was 10% urea, representing 7.2% of the total 1080 active ingredients. Furthermore, the pharmaceutical form The most frequent prescription is the cream, representing 51%, and for facial use it represents 51.4%. Furthermore, the most frequent diagnosis is acne, representing 20% of a total of 420 prescriptions. It was concluded that users of compounded medications are in the 30-59 age range, with a greater predominance of females. The active ingredient, 10% urea, and the pharmaceutical form, cream, were the most frequently prescribed. The indication was for the face, and the most frequent diagnosis was acne.
