Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress related to the quality of working life of nurses in the emergency area of Hospital del Sur, june-2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-12) Atahua Ancco, Esther Zunilda; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleStress is considered a global health problem; the recent pandemic has generated a greater burden on health personnel in their work; Likewise, it is a physical and psychological response generated by stimuli that cause imbalances or alterations in emotional states. While, the quality of life in relation to the workplace is linked to various aspects of daily life and with the various conditions that stand in the way of the workplace. This research has the purpose of determining the relationship between work stress and the quality of life of nurses in the emergency area of the Hospital del Sur, June - 2022. The study presented is of a basic type, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design. correlational and cross-sectional level, using questionnaires that are instruments of the survey technique in a census sample of 30 nurses. Work stress will be measured using The Nursing Stress Scale (ST) questionnaire, by Gray-Toft and Anderson in its Spanish version adapted and validated by Más y Escribá, which has a total of 34 items. On the other hand, the instrument of quality of life at work, the CVT-GOHISALO developed by Gonzales and other, both with adequate validity and reliability.
