Ítem Acceso abierto Nutritional status and psychomotor development of boys and girls from 2 to 3 years, health post in Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-12) Aviles Melliso, Rosa Angelica; Bernardo Santiago, GrisiMalnutrition is a widespread problem that impacts the health of children in the world. Said impact can be evidenced in the various spheres of its development such as coordination, motor language. Objective: to determine the relationship between nutritional status and psychomotor development in children from 2 to 3 years old, health post in Lima 2022. As for the Materials: quantitative approach, hypothetical deductive method, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. The population will be made up of mothers of children two to three of age cared for at the Health post in Lima. According to the nominal register of the health establishment, the population of children two to three year of age is 46 with their respective mothers. The sample will be census. The evaluation of the nutritional status will be carried out based on the growth tables of the WHO, including obesity, overweight, low weight and short stature. For the evaluation of nutritional status, we rely on the anthropometric assessment tables of the WHO published in 2006, which requires three data for the location in the respective standard deviation. The psychomotor development test, called TEPSI by its acronym, was developed by Haeussler M. and Marchant T. Said test evaluates the development in 3 areas: Coordination, language and Motricity, through the observation of various child behaviors, regarding actions proposed by the evaluator. Your application is individual; it can be applied in children from 2 to 5 years old.
