Ítem Acceso abierto Stress and job satisfaction of nursing staff in the COVID pediatric ICU service at the Villa El Salvador emergency hospital, Lima - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-10) Ayala Hijar, Leydy Claudia; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: To determine the relationship between the level of work-related stress and job satisfaction of nursing staff in the Pediatric ICU COVID-19 service at Villa El Salvador Emergency Hospital, Lima, 2021. Material and method: This academic work follows the hypothetical-deductive and analytical method, with a quantitative approach. It is basic, descriptive, and conducted in the Pediatric ICU service with all nursing staff, including licensed nurses and nursing technicians. The technique used will be the survey, and the instruments will be a Likert scale, which describes instructions, sociodemographic characteristics, and the questionnaire for both the work-related stress variable (Nursing Stress Scale) and the job satisfaction variable (La Font Roja). Both instruments have content validity and reliability, with Cronbach's alpha coefficient applied, obtaining values above 0.7 for both instruments. Data processing will be carried out using statistical procedures, followed by data entry according to a structured matrix as the database related to the measurement instrument.
