Publicación Acceso abierto Consumo de drogas ilícitas y su relación con las infracciones cometidas por los adolescentes en el Complejo Policial Walter Rosales León, Lima 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-09) Aymara Paira, Iris; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the consumption of illicit drugs and the offenses committed by adolescents at the Walter Rosales León police complex in Lima, 2021. Methods: The research was basic, with a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design. The approach was quantitative, retrospective, and cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 278 reports found in the toxicology area's archives, related to offenses committed by adolescents aged 13 to 17. The instrument was an observation form, and the study was conducted with a 95% confidence level. Results: The records showed the abuse of illicit drugs, including marijuana (65.1%), cocaine (10.1%), and marijuana/cocaine (24.8%). Regarding the offenses committed, there was a higher incidence of crimes against property (77.3%), public safety (14.7%), and life, health, and body (7.9%). The ages with the highest number of criminal acts were between 15 and 17 years old (90.7%), and 95.3% of the offenders were male. Conclusion: The significance value was 0.000 (p < 0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. The study concluded that the consumption of illicit drugs has a significant relationship with the offenses committed by adolescents at the Walter Rosales León police complex in Lima, 2021.
