The sample was made up of 142 users based on pre-established inclusion and exclusion criteria, to whom the instrument was applied: questionnaire to measure lifestyle in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. Of the 142 users, it was observed that 99.3% presented an unhealthy lifestyle in the nutritional habits dimension, with respect to physical activity, 76.1% presented an unhealthy lifestyle, in terms of harmful habits, 89.4% presented an unhealthy lifestyle. unhealthy lifestyle, in the evaluation of information on diabetes, 88% presented an unhealthy lifestyle, regarding the emotional state, 69.7% presented an unhealthy lifestyle and therefore Lastly, in therapeutic adherence, 58.5% had an unhealthy lifestyle, 76.8% of users with type II diabetes mellitus had an unhealthy lifestyle and the remaining 23.2% had a healthy lifestyle. Conclusion: Patients with type II Diabetes considered in the present study generally practiced healthy lifestyles.
