Ítem Acceso abierto Perception of humanized care and satisfaction of the user hospitalized in the intermediate care unit of a hospital in Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-18) Báez Nieves, Jeannee Veronica; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoScientific advances have improved the quality of care in intensive care units (ICUs), where there is a close relationship between technology and patient care, with nurses serving as the connecting link between the two. However, this alone is insufficient to ensure humane care due to the presence of various unfavorable conditions. In this context, the study aims to determine the relationship between the perception of humane care and the satisfaction of hospitalized patients in the intermediate care unit of a public hospital in Lima, 2022. The study adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational, non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The population consists of 27 patients admitted to the intermediate care unit, selected through convenience probabilistic sampling. The data collection technique is a survey. Part I gathers general information, such as age and gender. Part II includes two questionnaires: the Nursing Humanized Care Perception Instrument (PCHE) and the Caring Assessment Instrument Care Q(92) for the satisfaction variable, both of which are valid and reliable. The collected data will be entered into an Excel database and processed using SPSS statistical software.
