Materials and methods: the research is of a quantitative approach with a hypothetical deductive method of correlational scope. The population will be made up of 120 adolescents from a National School in Lima. The survey will serve as a technique and 2 questionnaire-type instruments with validity and reliability for the Peruvian state, with these the information will be collected to be able to contrast the hypotheses raised through descriptive and inferential statistics, the hypotheses will be contrasted with the Spermam RHO test On the other hand, the researcher will maintain adequate ethical conduct.Ítem Acceso abierto Fear and anxiety regarding COVID-19 in residents of a vulnerable area in Los Olivos, Lima - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-19) Bañez Palacios, Irina Maruja; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: The objective was to determine the relationship between fear and anxiety regarding COVID-19, in residents of a vulnerable area in Los Olivos, Lima-2021. Materials and methods: The present study was approached from a quantitative approach, with a correlational-cross-sectional design. The sample was made up of 130 participants. The data collection technique was the survey and the instrument used to measure the variables was the COVID-19 fear scale and the COVID-19 anxiety scale. Results: Regarding the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and anxiety, it was observed that there is a strong, directly proportional significant relationship (p < 0.5); Regarding the relationship between fear of COVID-19 in its emotional fear reactions dimension with anxiety, there is a significant direct proportional moderate relationship (p < 0.5); Finally, regarding the relationship between fear of COVID-19 in its dimension, somatic expressions of fear, and anxiety, there is a significant, strong directly proportional relationship (p < 0.5).
