    The present study is focused on explaining how the proposed MAO-T model allows reducing the shortage of medical devices in the user services of the Pediatric Emergency Hospital, Lima 2023 through the proposed implementation of the Metrics, Environment and Operability – Technology (MAO-T) model. . ; having a quantitative approach, non-experimental design with a population and sample of 84 workers from the Pediatric Emergency Hospital and a questionnaire was used, where the results in comparison demonstrated that the dependent variable presented positive changes after the intervention, this being quantified in that the Medical device shortages decreased from 26.2% (22) to 86.9% (73). Followed by the “maintained” level that presented a modification from 44% (37) to 13.1% (11), finally the variable had a rating of “Increase” that had a variation from 29.8% (25) to 0% (0). In other words, it was understood that the problem of the shortage of medical devices was reduced. It is concluded that the dependent variable "Shortage of medical devices" before receiving the application of the MAO-T model was 15.7976 points and that after the intervention the average score was 19.0595 points, providing a difference between both measurements of 3.26190 points in favor of the reduction of scarcity, this with a statistical error of .000, the difference between both measurements resulting from the Wilcoxon test being significant.
