    The objective of this research was to determine how adverse reactions are related to the use of hormonal contraceptives in female users visiting Arcángel Rafael Drugstores in 2021. The research methodology used a quantitative approach, with an applied type, a correlational level, and a cross-sectional non-experimental design. The population consisted of female users who purchased hormonal contraceptive products at Arcángel Rafael Drugstores from January to June 2021. The sample was a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 100 female users. Data collection was carried out using a survey technique with two questionnaires: one to measure the frequency of adverse reactions and another to determine the duration of use of hormonal contraceptives. Data analysis was performed using SPSS for both descriptive and inferential analysis. The main result was a moderate positive correlation between the two variables, with a Spearman's correlation coefficient (rho) of 0.220 and a bilateral significance level of 0.028, confirming that a significant relationship exists. It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between adverse reactions and the use of hormonal contraceptives in female users visiting Arcángel Rafael Drugstores in 2021.
