Objectives: Determine the relationship between the clinical characteristics and the SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology of patients at the Ate Vitarte Emergency Hospital, 2020. Material and method: Quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational study. For this, a sample of 339 patients (262 men and 77 women), who were between 30 and 59 years old, was taken. The information was collected through documentary analysis. The data was coded in an Excel database and analyzed in the statistical program SPSS. Results: Among the clinical characteristics presented were respiratory distress, cough, fever/chills and general discomfort as main signs and/or symptoms, with patients between 30 and 59 years of age being the most affected group. The distribution of the type of immunoglobulins in patients with reactive SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology was: 91.1% had IgM/IgG, 6.5% had IgG and 2.4% had IgM. The association between clinical characteristics and SARS-CoV2/COVID-19 serology was not statistically significant (p>0.05). It is concluded that respiratory distress was the most important clinical manifestation, the age group from 30 to 59 years, the male gender and Lima as the place of origin, the most important epidemiological characteristics related to COVID-19 in the Hospital Emergencia Ate Vitarte, 2020.
