    Manejo analgésico en relación con dolor somático y visceral en personas adultas atendidas en botica Noryfarma, San Borja – 2022

    Pain affects quality of life and leads to various comorbidities. The research used a hypothetical-deductive method, with a quantitative approach, basic, non-experimental, correlational, prospective, and cross-sectional design, and non-probabilistic sampling. The sample consisted of 384 adults experiencing somatic or visceral pain. The data collection technique was a survey using a questionnaire. The hypothesis was tested using Spearman's Rho. Results: Among 384 adults, 64.6% were men, 90.4% were aged between 25-40 years, 86.2% were single, and 90.1% had higher education. Occasionally, pain was located in joints (14.3%), muscles (17.7%), visceral areas (19.8%), head (23.7%), and back (25.5%). Pain was occasionally described as burning (13.5%), stabbing (7.8%), colicky (13.3%), or oppressive (23.4%). Occasionally, the causes of pain were kidney stones (6%), arthritis (5.7%), or intestinal spasms (2.1%). For pain management, NSAIDs were used occasionally (51%), tramadol (18%), anticonvulsants (6%), antispasmodics (6%), and muscle relaxants (47.9%). Additionally, 35.9% reported pain relief; 10.2% almost always experienced digestive discomfort; 15.9% almost always felt drowsiness, dizziness, or weakness; and 62.5% indicated they never consumed medication chronically. It was found that somatic or visceral pain was related to analgesic management in adults attending Noryfarma pharmacy, San Borja - 2022.
