Ítem Acceso abierto Nutritional status and its relationship with the eating habits of the inmates of the Nursing School of the Wiener University, 2011(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2011) Álvarez Rengifo, Gersson Ricardo; Bendezú Sánchez, Rosario Mercedes; Chávez Zegarra, Gaby SoniaThis research aimed to establish the relationship between nutritional status and eating habits of the students from the Professional Nursing School at the Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener. A descriptive and correlational study was conducted. The sample consisted of 50 young adult nursing students. The technique used was the interview, and the instrument was a 34-question multiple-choice questionnaire on eating habits, used to determine the BMI of the participants. As a result, it was found that regarding nutritional status and eating habits, 30% (15) of the students had mostly regular eating habits, 18% (9) had poor eating habits, and 14% (7) had good eating habits. Among those with overweight and obesity, 9 had regular eating habits (18%), 7 had poor habits (14%), and 3 had good habits (6%). Regarding nutritional status, 62% (31) had a normal weight, 32% (16) were overweight, and only 6% (3) were obese. Regarding eating habits, 48% (24) were regular, 32% (16) were poor, and 20% (10) were good. In conclusion, no relationship was found between the nutritional status and eating habits of the nursing students.Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between anxiety levels and depression in university students of health sciences attending the mental health center of Lince, Lima - 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-26) Bendezú Sánchez, Rosario Mercedes; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoIntroduction: In the world mental problems are increasingly growing, being anxiety and depression the ones that lead this range, mostly these pathologies are usually evidenced by sadness, sudden mood changes, stop doing things they used to like to do, feel a lot of fear, fear and even think about suicide. In such a way that the population most affected by these mental problems are university students, because they tend to deal with a lot of academic, as well as social and family burden. Objective: " To determine the relationship between the level of anxiety and the level of depressive symptoms in university students in health sciences attending the mental health center of Lince, Lima - 2023." Methods: The analysis is a quantitative approach, correlational and descriptive design. The population consisted of 134 university student in health sciences patients treated at the CSM of Lince, with a sample of 99 individuals, using the finite sample formula. For the data collection sample, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale GAD-7 questionnaire will be used, as well as the Generalized Depression Disorder Scale PHQ-9, whose instruments were validated by factorial values: 0.97 and 0.95, which show a high level of reliability. That is why the data will be collected to be processed in order to be able to perceive how much relationship there is in both variables, and thus be able to perceive how much anxiety and depression there is in the students.
