Ítem Acceso abierto Factors Associated with Self-Medication and its Relationship with Practice in Nursing Staff in Times of Pandemic, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-01-06) Bendezu Vera, Miguel Angel; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective is: To establish the relationship that exists between the components associated with self-medication and its relationship with the practice in nursing staff in times of pandemic 2021 This thesis uses a deductive methodology; It consists of a method of reasoning and reaching a conclusion based on a series of premises. In which it consists of drawing a conclusion based on a premise that is assumed to be true. In the results we have that, in the factors associated with self-medication, the significance value of p is greater than the value of the risk level at 5%, the null hypothesis is accepted, p = 0.726> x = 0.05%, we accept the null hypothesis and we say that the null hypothesis is true as a result of applying chi square, we have that in the social factor dimension the p value is greater than the value of the risk level at 5% the null hypothesis is accepted p = 0.001 < x = 0.5, the null hypothesis is rejected and we say that the alternate hypothesis is true as a result of applying chi square. 100% of the population has insurance, 63.7% always self-medicate. 64.9% always self-medicate and have a monthly income > 1800 soles. I conclude: That the factors associated with self-medication are independent of the practice in nursing staff.Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about pressure injury and its relationship with preventive practice in intensive care nursing staff, in a private institution, Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-26) Bendezu Vera, Miguel Angel; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioIntroduction: The prevention of pressure injuries is the responsibility of nursing, since the nursing staff, especially the male and female nurse, has the duty to ensure the care of the skin of the bedridden patient, especially in critical units such as the care area. intensive care, is vital, and it is also important to prevent pressure injuries in critical units. Methods: Applied, quantitative, correlational and transversal study. The census sample will consist of 80 nurses from the intensive care unit. The survey will be used to apply two Likert-type scale questionnaires adapted by Ocharán for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman compensation coefficient statistical test given the qualitative nature of the variables.
