Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the probability of survival in emergency cardiac arrest patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-09-01) Biviano Camones, Jorge Ernesto; Arevalo Marcos, Rodolfo AmadoObjective: To classify investigations related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the probability of survival in patients with cardiac arrest in emergency. Materials and Methods: Systematic observational and retrospective study, the exploration was directed towards complete scientific articles and they were subjected to a critical review, using the Grade evaluation to identify the level of evidence; getting 10 items. Of 100% of these studies, 40% correspond to Colombia and China, and 60% to Cuba, South Korea, the United States and Spain. All of them were found in the following databases: Cochrane, Pubmed, Scielo, Google Scholar. All of these articles belong to the quantitative type and due to their research design they are systematic reviews, randomized controlled studies and analytical cross-sectional studies. Results: Of the 10 articles chosen, 100% showed that CPR is effective in the survival of the adult patient in an emergency or during an emergency. Conclusions: CPR is effective in survival when the signs and symptoms that precede cardiorespiratory arrest are recognized and act immediately to perform chest compressions immediately.Ítem Acceso abierto Quality of life and adherence to treatment in patients attending renal replacement therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Santa Ana Clinic, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-21) Biviano Camones, Jorge Ernesto; Palomino Taquire, RewardsObjective: Determine the relationship between quality of life and adherence to treatment in patients who attend renal replacement therapy during the COVID-19 pandemic at the Santa Ana Clinic, 2021. Methodology: The method will be hypothetical-deductive, quantitative approach , basic type, correlational design, the population will be made up of 100 patients with end-stage chronic kidney disease. Data collection techniques and instruments: To collect the information, the survey technique and two instruments will be applied: quality of life (SF-36) of 35 items, whose dimensions (functional state, state of well-being and general state) and adherence to treatment of 25 items, whose dimensions (treatment, diet and lifestyle). Procedures: Data will be collected in the Renal Replacement Therapy Unit at the Santa Ana Clinic in Miraflores. Statistical analysis: The results will be presented in statistical tables and/or graphs for analysis and interpretation, taking into account the theoretical bases. For this, the statistical program IBM SPSS Statistics version 26.0 and the Microsoft Excel 2019 program were used; Likewise, to test the hypothesis, the Spearman Correlation Test (Rho) will be applied, as a margin the level of statistical significance.
