Burnout syndrome and depression in nurses of the emergency service - Covid Area of the Ate Vitarte National Hospital - 2020

The present study "Burnout Syndrome and Depression in nurses of the emergency service - COVID area of the Ate Vitarte National Hospital - 2020, was raised as Objective: To establish the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and the levels of depression in nurses of the Emergency Service COVID Area of the Ate Vitarte National Hospital, during the care of the national health emergency. Material and method: The study will be applicative, quantitative approach, correlational scope, non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The total population will be 125 nurses. Two data collection instruments will be used: The Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to measure Burnout Syndrome and the Patient Health Questionnaire - 9 (PHQ - 9), to measure depression. The technique to be used will be the survey. After completing the data collection, the results found will be captured in tables and graphs in percentages according to each dimension in order to later correlate the variables and make the respective comments in contrast with the respective background and theories, monitor and supervise these processes to maintain or improve patient care.

Overload and coping strategies in the primary caregiver of a patient with childhood cancer in a hospital of Lima 2023

Objective: The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between the burden and coping strategies of the primary caregiver of patients with childhood cancer in a Hospital of Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: This research paper presents a quantitative approach; of non-experimental observational, correlational cross-sectional design will work with a population of 90 primary caregivers of children with cancer under treatment in the pediatric oncohematology service of a Hospital in Lima, the instruments called caregiver burden assessment scale and another on the coping strategies of the primary caregiver will be applied. The instruments called Caregiver Burden Assessment Scale and another on the coping strategies of the primary caregiver will be applied. Data Processing: Once the data collection is finished, the results will be displayed in tables and graphs with percentages according to each dimension, so that a comparison can be made with the background and hypotheses. The Word application will be used to write the final report and case documentation. Excel will be used to build a database. The characteristics of the population will be described by descriptive statistics (mean and percentage), which will allow us to correlate both variables of the research using the statistical tool SPSS 25, and the variables will be correlated using Spearman's correlation coefficient.
