    The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the variables: the professor performance and the formation of skills in students of the second specialization of the Professional Academic School of Nursing, Norbert Wiener University, 2018. The sample was composed of 116 students of the second specialization, third cycle studies (2018 – I), of the Professional Academic School of Nursing. To carry out the evaluation of the variables of this research, it was designed an instrument, which was divided in two parts: Part I with 22 items – the professor performance dimension and Part II with 24 items - the formation of skills dimension. The respective dimensions had Cronbach's alphas of 0.974. The results showed (Kendall’s Tau-B: p = 0.000 < ∝ = 0.05) the rejection of the null hypothesis. After analyzing the results, it was concluded that it exists a relationship between the professor performance and the formation of skills dimensions. Therefore, the best professor performance the best formation of skills; in relation to the professor performance dimensions, it was concluded that it exists a relationship between the next domains: personal, institutional organization, curricular organization, procedural – pedagogical and the formation by competences in students of the second specialisation of the Professional Academic School of Nursing – Norbert Wiener University.
