Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento de anemia y adherencia al tratamiento en mujeres gestantes en el Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-07-20) Borda Hurtado, Betzabe Veronica; Chavez Vidal, Janeth Rocio; Caldas Herrera, EmmaThe study aimed to “Determine how adherence to treatment is related to the level of anemia knowledge in pregnant women at Hospital Carlos Lanfranco La Hoz.” Method: Hypothetical-deductive approach with a quantitative focus, basic type, and non-experimental observational cross-sectional design, at a descriptive and correlational level. The population consisted of 220 women, with a sample of 140 pregnant women selected randomly. The study variables included variable 1 and variable 2 with their respective dimensions. The technique used was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed with tables and graphs for descriptive purposes, and the Spearman’s Rho test was applied to verify correlation, complying with the university’s ethical standards. Results: A relationship was demonstrated between anemia knowledge and treatment adherence, with P=0.000 (P<0.05), accepting the alternative hypothesis, and Rho=0.474, indicating a moderate positive correlation. Additionally, 73.6% of the pregnant women showed low adherence to treatment, and 55.0% had a medium level of knowledge about anemia. Conclusion: There is a moderate positive relationship between treatment adherence and the level of anemia knowledge.
