It is caused by the perception of danger to one’s existence, and will be measured using the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS) by Templer. Objective: To determine death anxiety in nursing professionals in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit at the Care and Isolation Center, COVID-19 Hospital Villa Panamericana, Lima-2020. Material and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The design is non-experimental, as the variable will not be deliberately manipulated. Data collection will be done through surveys. The main variable will be measured using the Death Anxiety Scale (DAS), which assesses anxiety levels across four categories: low, moderate, moderately high, and high.
