    Enterobiasis or oxyuriasis is a parasitic infection widespread worldwide. It is one of the most difficult transmissible diseases to examine, not only due to its high contagion but because it can be acquired through ingestion and/or inhalation of infective eggs or via retroinfection. This disease primarily affects children between 3 and 6 years old who have not developed proper hygiene practices. The lack of 24-hour access to potable water and education on the prevention of parasitic diseases also contributes to the problem. Socioeconomic factors such as poverty, poor hygiene, and unfavorable socio-cultural conditions significantly hinder the development and quality of life for many individuals, making it a pressing epidemiological issue.
