Publicación Acceso abierto Parasitosis intestinal y estado nutricional en escolares de la institución educativa particular "Jesús de Nazareth" del distrito de Lurigancho – Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-05-26) Bustamante Campos, Adila; Jara Pizarro, Lisbeth Luisa; Moscoso Mujica, Gladys AngélicaObjective: To determine the relationship between intestinal parasitosis and nutritional status in schoolchildren at the "Jesús de Nazareth" Private Educational Institution in the Lurigancho district - Lima 2024. Methodology: The study was based on a hypothetical-deductive approach with a quantitative focus. It was classified as a basic study. The design was non experimental and cross-sectional, comprising 132 schoolchildren. The technique used was observation, and the instrument was the observation form. Results: It was evidenced 12.9% of the 4th grade, 50.8% for male sex, age of 10 years 15.2%, no association was found with the demographic aspect and anthropometric indicators, clinical indicators of physical inspection type which indicated a relationship with a chi square ,047, in the same way the dietary indicator was related with a chi-square of 0.036, 61.4% of negative cases of parasitosis, a majority percentage of Blastocystis hominis cyst was evidenced 24.5%, 31.8% of children have brittle nails, dull and with little growth, a breakfast diet with 52.3% who consume oats and / or milk and bread, 47% who consume food in the lunchbox (hard-boiled egg, fruit, sandwich and / or infusion), Albendazole 21.2% and paico leaves with a 6.1%. Conclusion: It was determined that intestinal parasitosis in schoolchildren at the "Jesús de Nazareth" Private Educational Institution in the Lurigancho district – Lima 2024 is related to clinical indicators of physical examination, specifically the presence of rough and dry skin (p = 0.047), as well as to breakfast and lunchbox diet (p = 0.036). No significant association was found with age (p = 0.574) or sex (p = 0.500).
