Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge about biosafety measures and practices of the nursing professional of the surgical center of the national hospital, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-09-03) Bustamante Irigoín, Esmila; Suarez Valderrama, Yurik AnatoliThe objective of this research study is to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about biosafety measures and practices of the professional nursing staff at the Surgical Center of the National Hospital, Lima 2023. Materials and Methods: The research is hypothetical-deductive. correlational of a quantitative, descriptive type, using validated instruments, was validated in Peru by the author Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine, in 2018, whose title was “Relationship between the level of knowledge and practices of biosafety measures in inmates of nursing of a hospital in Lima and that will allow obtaining results with scientific value. Population: the population to be studied is made up of 92 nurses who meet the inclusion criteria, for which the questionnaire instruments and a checklist will be applied, using survey and observation techniques respectively. The instrument was designed by Bruno Aguilar, Kelly Katherine in 2018. In this way, to determine the level of knowledge and practices of biosafety measures will be obtained with compliance with ethical standards, both variables will be through inferential statistical measures, when the data collection is completed, the information will be processed in a matrix. Coding and content will be done using the Microsoft Excel program and the SPSS statistical program, version 22 with the purpose of presenting the results in tables and/or graphs for subsequent analysis and interpretation. To establish the relationship between the two variables, the standard deviation and percentage for the variables will be used; to contrast the research hypothesis, it will be carried out using Spearman's Rho compensation coefficient.
