    Ergonomic risk factors and their relationship with musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff of the emergency service in a hospital in Lima - 2022

    The purpose of this research is to address the issues currently present in various healthcare centers in our country and around the world, which primarily affect nursing staff who are exposed to a series of risks that jeopardize their health and quality of life. Among these risks, ergonomic hazards that can lead to musculoskeletal disorders during their activities are particularly notable. The main objective is to determine the relationship between ergonomic risk factors and musculoskeletal disorders in nursing staff in the emergency department of a hospital in Lima. A deductive study with a quantitative approach was conducted, with a non-experimental, correlational design. It consists of two instruments: the first is a questionnaire for measuring ergonomic risk factors, which includes 2 dimensions with a total of 35 items and a Likert-type response scale. The second is a questionnaire for musculoskeletal disorders, designed to detect musculoskeletal conditions, consisting of 5 dimensions with a total of 24 items, also using a Likert scale.
