Material and Methods: Observational systemic review and retrospective analyzing the results of multiple clinical trials controlled studies that are the original primary studies. They are part foundation of evidence-based nursing for its comprehensive methodology identifying relevant studies to answer specific questions of clinical practice, the search for Evidence is developed systemically with selection criteria, full-text articles have been restricted and selected articles have been subjected to critical reading. Results: When defining the final selection, ten articles were chosen, it is observed that the origin of the evidence found must indicate that; 30% (3/10) corresponds to Spain, 20% (2/10) corresponds to Costa Rica, 20% (2/10) corresponds to Brazil, 20% (2/10) corresponds to the United States of America, 10 % (1/10) corresponds to China. Conclusion: According to the results obtained, it can be seen that of the total of 10 articles reviewed demonstrate that 60% show the effectiveness of triage performed by nurses to reduce patient saturation in the hospital emergency service. While 40% of the evidence indicates that interventions need to carry out complementary studies to achieve effectiveness in their application.
