Academic stress in students of the 3rd cycle of the professional school of nursing at UNW, 2020

Objective: Determine the level of academic stress in students of the 3rd cycle of the Professional School of Nursing of the Norbert Wiener University. Material and methods: Under the quantitative approach, applied type, descriptive level, non-experimental design, there was a sample of 94 students between 20 and 41 years old, 87.5% being women. An adaptation of the SISCO Academic Stress Inventory duly validated by experts and with a good level of reliability (Cronbach's Alpha 0.831) was applied.

Adherence to treatment and quality of life in hypertensive persons attending a primary health care facility in Chorrillos, 2023

Objective: The purpose of the study is to determine how adherence to treatment is related to the quality of life in hypertensive people who attend a primary health care establishment in Chorrillos, 2023. Materials and methods: The quantitative approach and the correlational design were assumed. There was a sample of 116 patients with AHT, the technique used for data collection was the survey. The Morisky Green test and the MINICHAL were used as measurement instruments. Results: In the research hypothesis, there is a significant relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life (p<0.05). In the specific hypotheses, a significant relationship was found in both cases (p<0.05). Conclusions: A significant link was found between the main variables.

Objective: To determine the relationship between treatment adherence and quality of life in patients with hypertension who visit the health consultation at an EsSalud hospital in Lima, 2022. Materials and Methods: The method to be used is hypothetical/deductive; the type of research is basic, and the study approach is quantitative. The sample consisted of 125 participants aged 30 and over with hypertension, selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria for the research. To measure sociodemographic and family characteristics, the Minichal questionnaire was used. It presents 16 statements/items distributed into two factors/dimensions: "Mood," which has 10 items (1-10), and "Somatic Manifestations," which has 6 items (11-16), using a Likert scale ranging from "0" No, not at all; "1" Yes, somewhat; "2" Yes, quite a lot; and "3" general rating from 0 (better health perception) to 30 points (poorer health perception). The Morisky-Green test, consisting of 4 dichotomous Yes/No items, provides a general score ranging from 0 to 4.

Adherence to treatment is an important element of the cardiac patient's quality of life. Objective To determine how adherence to treatment is associated with quality of life in patients with heart failure. The work is framed in the quantitative approach, it uses the hypothetical-deductive method, it is correlational in scope, the population will be made up of 80 patients with a diagnosis of heart failure who attend the cardiology clinic, 2 instruments structured on the Likert scale will be applied, with validity and reliability are standardized scales used in Peru in 2019. The data will be processed in the Excel program and then analyzed with SPSS, where descriptive and inferential analyzes will be made, applying Spearman's Rho hypothesis test, the Data will be presented in cross tables to give a broader vision of the variables and dimensions, throughout the investigation the ethical aspects of scientific research have been complied with and will continue to be complied with.

Adherence to treatment and quality of life in people with high blood pressure living in an area of San Martin de Porres, 2021

The objective was to determine the relationship between treatment adherence and quality of life in people with arterial hypertension who live in an area of San Martin de Porres, 2021. Materials and methods: This study was quantitative, its methodological design was correlational-cross-sectional. The sample consisted of 114 participants. The data collection technique was the survey and the instruments used to measure the variables were the Morisky Green Scale and the MINICHAL Questionnaire. Results: Of the 114 participants, 70.2% were female (n = 80) and their average age was 50.61 years. Regarding the general hypothesis, it was found that there is a significant relationship between adherence to treatment and quality of life (p <0.05). According to the specific hypotheses, there is a significant relationship between adherence to treatment according to its dimension of frequency of taking medications and quality of life (p<0.05) and finally, there is a significant relationship between adherence to treatment according to its dimension of mood with the evolution of the disease and quality of life (p<0.05).

Objective: Identify the relationship between treatment adherence and quality of life of the patient undergoing hemodialysis therapy at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital in Lima. Methodology: The type of research will be applied, quantitative approach, observational design, correlational level, and cross-sectional. Population and Sample: The representative sample will correspond to 80 patients, determined by convenience through non-probabilistic and non-random sampling. The corresponding instruments will be applied to this sample in the period from October to November 2022. Technique and Instruments: The technique to be applied will be the survey and the instruments will correspond to the questionnaires for evaluating therapeutic adherence, and quality of life (Health Survey-SF36), which have been modified and adapted to our environment for the population with kidney involvement, which have a Cronbach's Alpha reliability equivalent to 0.85 and 0.83 respectively. Data processing and analysis: The data will be recorded in an Excel template for classification and control, being processed, and the existing relationship between the variables treated in the research will be established, through the Chi Square statistical test by counting the study with qualitative variables.

Anemia in children under 5 years of age is a very serious public health problem that has not been eradicated, and its deficiency in the organism generates consequences such as poor learning performance and decay. The present research project will be developed with the objective of determining anemia in children under 5 years of age and its relationship with growth and development in the CRED clinic of the Santiago de Surco health center, Lima - 2022. The research study will be carried out by means of a "non-experimental observational design of cross-sectional and correlational level", without manipulating the natural course of these, since it will determine the relationship between the two variables. The study population will be made up of a total of 80 patients attending the CRED service of the Santiago de Surco Health Center. Data collection technique and instrument: it will be used with the prior authorization and consent of the mother. The results will be collected and processed and tabulated using an SPSS statistical system.

Objective: The objective of the study is to determine the relationship between anxiety and adherence to hypertension treatment in patients of the Cardiology Service of the Villa Salud Lurín Polyclinic, 2021 Material and method: This is an investigation that presented a quantitative approach, with a basic level, of a descriptive correlational type and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, likewise the sample was 80 patients that will be included in the present study, who attend the cardiology service of the Villa Salud Lurín polyclinic, during the months of September and October, 2021. The survey technique was used and questionnaires as an instrument, which had a reliability of 0.879 for anxiety and for adherence to hypertension treatment.

This research falls within the specialty of nursing in the intensive care unit, focusing on the issues of anxiety and Burnout Syndrome among nurses working in this context, particularly during the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, given its significant impact on the health and lives of the entire population, especially healthcare personnel, whose responsibilities often exceed their physical, mental, and emotional coping capacity. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship between anxiety and Burnout Syndrome in nurses working in the intensive care unit of a clinic in Lima during the pandemic in 2021. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The research has a quantitative approach with a descriptive-correlational scope and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The sample will consist of 25 nurses. The technique will be a survey, and the instruments applied will be the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).

The following research aims to determine the relationship between anxiety and depression in older adults with diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure who attend the outpatient clinic of the Clínica Especialidades Médicas, San Borja, Lima 2022. The Method will be quantitative in approach, descriptive type, cross-sectional correlational; The population is made up of 88 older adults, which will be the entire sample. To measure our objectives, the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) instrument will be applied to measure the first variable and the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale to measure the second variable. Spearman's parametric Rho correlation test will be used for the results.

Anxiety and social skills in patients of the psychology clinic at Huánuco Hospital, 2023

The purpose of this research is: “to determine the influence of anxiety on the social skills of patients who attend the Hospital, Huánuco, 2023”, for this purpose a quantitative and correlational approach will be used as a methodology, in a population of 80 young patients. of both sexes from 15 to 30 years of age who attend the Huanuco Hospital. The sample will be the same as the population, so non-probabilistic sampling will not be used. The instruments to be used will be the “Social Anxiety Questionnaire for Adults” (CASO) and the “Social Skills Scale” (EHS). The results showed a significant negative correlation between anxiety and social skills (r= -.893; p= .001), likewise social skills had the same significant negative trends with the dimensions of anxiety: public speaking (r= - .750; p= .001); interaction with the opposite sex (r= -.734; p= .001); assertive expression (r= -.659; p= .001); becoming evident (r= -.546; p= .001), interaction with strangers (r= -.814; p= .001). Concluding that anxiety negatively affects social skills in patients.

La relación del apoyo familiar en su dimensión apoyo afectivo con la calidad de vida del adulto mayor hay moderado grado de apoyo familiar con regular calidad de vida del adulto mayor ambos se relacionan en 57%. La relación del apoyo familiar en su dimensión valorativo, hay bajo grado de apoyo familiar con mala calidad de vida del adulto mayor donde se relacionan en 71%. La relación del apoyo familiar en su dimensión informativo e instrumental, hay moderado grado de apoyo familiar con regular calidad de vida del adulto mayor se relacionan en 63%. La relación del apoyo familiar, en nuestros resultados encontramos que hay moderado grado de apoyo familiar con regular calidad de vida del adulto mayor se relacionan en 89%.

Nursing is the profession that cares for all phases of a human being's life, but it is in the Surgical Center where they are most vulnerable and where physical integrity must prevail reciprocally, which is why they are exposed to the transmission of microorganism, directly or indirectly, which must be protected with biological, physical and chemical barriers. Although national and international organizations have established biosafety measures for work practices, risks continue to increase. Objective: Determine the application of the biosafety measures of Nursing Personnel against the Biological Risks present in the Surgical Center service, of ESSALUD - Cañete, 2021. Methodological Design: It has a quantitative approach, it will be descriptive, a non-experimental, prospective and finally cross-sectional design. We will begin to collect data, once the COVID-19 pandemic is stable and controlled in our country, the procedures related to authorization will be implemented. The following aspects were considered in the study: conventional data, taking into account its classification in 3 dimensions, including physical barriers, chemical barriers and elimination of sharp and/or contaminated materials.

Objective: Determine how the assessment of the risk factors of the immediate newborn, carried out by nursing, is related to the Apgar score in a hospital in Lima-2022. Methodology: Non-experimental, cross-sectional, hypothetical-deductive design, with a quantitative approach, applied type. Population: 120 medical records of newborns who must meet the inclusion criteria. Instrument: the data collection sheet, where the information obtained from the assessment of the 4 dimensions will be placed through the responses to the 21 items. Conclusions: the relationship that exists between the assessment of risk factors of the immediate newborn carried out by nursing and the score obtained with the Apgar Test applied to the newborn in one minute and five minutes of extrauterine life will be confirmed or denied.

Associated factors and forms of organophosphate poisoning in patients of the emergency service, of a public hospital, Supe, 2022

Introduction: In the district of Supe one of the main economic activities is agriculture and commerce, it is common to see patients with cholinergic symptoms and sometimes victims with altered sensorium or coma, it is common to observe a heterogeneity of factors, some not even described in the scientific literature; Aware of this reality and convinced of the importance and impact that the use and abuse of organophosphorus substances have on the health and well-being of individuals and their community, the research initiative arose to measure the factors associated with the form of organophosphorus intoxication in patients admitted to the emergency department of the hospital of Supe. Objective: To determine the associated factors and forms of organophosphorus poisoning in patients in the emergency department of a public hospital in Supe 2022. Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and retrospective cross-sectional, a sample of 75 patients with organophosphorus poisoning in the emergency department of the Supe Hospital will be taken intentionally. The instrument used to measure the variables will be an observation form validated by a group of experts. Results: it is expected to reveal the problems observed in the study scenario and reaffirm the hypothesis put forward.

Associated factors and prevalence of pressure injuries in intensive care unit patients

Introduction: In intensive care units, pressure injuries are still evident due to the prolonged time of immobility that occurs in patients. Objective: To determine the relationship of associated factors and the prevalence of pressure injury in patients in the Intensive Care Unit, Hospital María Auxiliadora, 2023 Methods: The type of research will be descriptive correlational with a non-experimental design. The population is made up of patients from the intensive care unit. The care instruments of the Norton Scale and the observation scale will be applied. The data will be processed in the statistical program SPSS and the normality test will be sought with KMO to verify the use of parametric or non-parametric statistics.

Association between the level of knowledge and practice on self-care of older adults in the community from sector 6, group 6, from the district of Villa El Salvador - 2022

The present investigation had as objective to determine the association between the Level of Knowledge and Practice on Self-care that the Elderly Adult of the Community of Sector 6 Group 6 has, of the District of Villa El Salvador-2022. Study that was of the applied type, with a descriptive correlational cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach, in which the hypothetical and deductive method was applied. The population consisted of 108 older adults from the Community of Sector 6 Group 6, of the District of Villa El Salvador. The instruments applied were for the variable level of knowledge about self-care of the elderly, a questionnaire was used. For the self-care practice variable, the instrument "CYPAC TEST -AM. Results: according to the Pearson correlation coefficient, 0.194 was obtained, which indicates a low positive correlation between both variables analyzed, which is significant. Of the population, 88.9% presented a medium level of knowledge and a partially adequate self-care practice with 68%, followed by high knowledge with 10.2% and an inadequate self-care practice with 24.1%, 9% presented a level of knowledge low and a completely adequate practice with a percentage of 7.4%. Conclusions: According to the results obtained, it is concluded that there is a low positive association between the level of knowledge and the practice of self-care of the elderly in the Community of Sector 6 Group 6, of the District of Villa El Salvador.

Attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition in a health center in the Cercado de Lima district, 2019

Objective: Determine the attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition in a Health center in the Cercado district of Lima, 2019. Methodology: Descriptive, cross-sectional, prospective study in 81 mothers of children under 1 to 5 years old attended at a health center in the Cercado district of Lima - 2019. The survey was used with the Cisneros & Vallejos questionnaire previously validated within of an educational intervention evaluation. This instrument has 15 questions with three categories with scoring Results: Of the total, a favorable attitude of the mothers was determined where 55 (68.2%) agreed with the questionnaire items, 21 (25.7%) were indifferent and 5 (6.1%) disagreed with the study items. The most frequent age group was 16 to 20 years old (29.6%), then the 21 to 25 year old age group (27.2%). Forty-four (54.3%) mothers had 1 child and 55 (67.9%) mothers completed secondary school. Conclusions: Favorable attitudes of mothers of children under 1 to 5 years of age regarding poor nutrition were determined in a Health center in the Cercado district of Lima, 2019.
