    Nivel de conocimiento acerca de la contaminación generada por la eliminación de residuos farmacéuticos del personal de farmacias y boticas del Rímac, 2022

    The general objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge about the contamination generated by the disposal of pharmaceutical waste among pharmacy and drugstore personnel in Rímac. The method used was deductive, with a quantitative approach, basic type, and non-experimental design. The level of knowledge was measured by applying a questionnaire to 82 respondents. Results: The findings showed that 78.05% had a medium level of knowledge regarding the contamination generated by the disposal of pharmaceutical waste. Regarding the dimensions, the pharmaceutical form dimension showed a high level, while the dimensions related to the impact on the ecosystem and the importance of proper disposal showed a medium level, and the disposal practices dimension showed a low level of knowledge. Conclusion: The study participants demonstrated a medium level of knowledge about the contamination generated by the disposal of pharmaceutical waste.
