Objective: This study aimed to determine the trends in magistral compounding at the "Villa Militar de Chorrillos" polyclinic from July to September 2018. Methodology: The research type was descriptive. The sample was randomly selected and consisted of 136 patients from the dermatology area of the "Villa Militar de Chorrillos" polyclinic who had been prescribed a magistral formula during the specified months. The data collection technique and instruments included the daily prescription records, medication price formats, and patient surveys. Results: A growing trend in the number of prescriptions was observed for the July-September quarters of 2016, 2017, and 2018, with 181, 192, and 210 prescriptions, respectively. 76% of the formula users were female, and 57% were young people between 18 and 25 years old. 55.9% of patients expressed high satisfaction with their treatment, 68.4% showed high treatment adherence, and 72.8% had high knowledge about the formula. Conclusion: A 9.4% growth trend was determined in the number of prescriptions for the July-September 2018 quarter compared to the same quarter in 2017, along with a predominantly female trend (76%) in the use of these formulas compared to men.
