Breastfeeding is natural, practical, reduces pain and encourages attachment and does not have hyperosmolarity, thus reducing adverse effects in neonates undergoing painful procedures.Publicación Acceso abierto EFICACIA DE LA LACTANCIA MATERNA EN EL CONTROL DEL DOLOR EN EL RECIÉN NACIDO(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Caldas Coronado, Wendy Elizabeth; Mg. The research method applied is deductive with a cross-sectional, non-experimental correlational quantitative approach. Likewise, for the population a total of 50 nurses who work in the neonatal intensive care unit were considered; The technique that will be used for data collection will be a questionnaire that will measure the level of knowledge about pain management in neonatal venipuncture, which was developed by Millán (2012), based on the review of literature related to the topic. The questionnaire is originally composed of four parts and modified by Quezada (2016) with a reliability of 0.801, it consists of 16 questions, and to measure the variable practices on the management of neonatal venipunctures, a checklist that was developed by Oblitas will be used ( 2018) with a reliability of Kuder Richardson KR - 20, thus obtaining a value greater than 0.60 having 10 items for the check. To prepare the results, percentage distribution tables will be used in which the results of each variable and its dimensions will be disclosed.
