    This resarch aimed to determine how eating habits are related to the nutritional status and central obesity of elderly patients with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus at the Chilca Health Center, Junin,Peru, 2020. A database of patients was analyzed of patients with arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus who attended th Chilca Health Center, them a survey was applied by calls. Result: 45,85% (94) of the eating habits were adecuated, 45,85 had noral weigt 29,27 60 were overweight 13,17 27 were thin and 11,71% 24 had obesity. Conclusion: eating habits are formed in the life span are complex to modify and could lead to weight disordes (thinness, overweigth and obesity
