    Efectividad de una intervención farmacéutica para el uso adecuado de antibióticos en pacientes adultos atendidos en oficinas farmacéuticas de Villa María del Triunfo 2023

    This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a pharmaceutical intervention for the proper use of antibiotics in adult patients attending community pharmacies in Villa María del Triunfo in 2023. The study followed a hypothetical-deductive, pre-experimental design with a sample of 154 adults. A questionnaire was applied as the instrument for both pre-test and post-test assessments. The results revealed that, prior to the pharmaceutical intervention, 77.9% of participants had an inadequate pattern of antibiotic use and 92.2% expressed negative attitudes toward antibiotics. After the intervention, 61.7% showed an adequate pattern of use and 30.5% a regular pattern. In terms of attitudes, 100% of the participants demonstrated a positive attitude following the intervention. In conclusion, the pharmaceutical intervention was effective in improving both the proper use of antibiotics and the attitudes of adult patients attending community pharmacies in Villa María del Triunfo in 2023.
