Una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica entre el 2012-2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-28) Callan Vargas, Juan Manuel; Vargas Merino, Jorge AlbertoThis research work describes the approaches and perspectives of polygraph evaluations as confidence tests through the use of the polygraph, carried out through a systematic review of the scientific validity, reliability of the equipment and the analysis of all the studies related to the polygraph, which is oriented to be used as a management tool for the prevention of crimes or misconduct during the professional exercise, This review covers the last 10 years, for which an exhaustive search of the scientific literature was carried out in the databases of Scopus, Science Direct, Scielo, Ebsco, Dialnet and Taylor & Francis, selecting 50 scientific articles, of free access, both for the language and for the binding characteristics. The results obtained show that the use of polygraph evaluations, as a strategic management tool, will allow to have reliable professionals, allowing to know the labor profile, evaluate the values, suitability, level of preparation and experience, before being appointed to positions of trust, to contribute to an efficient and effective management, reducing the risks of bribery, corruption and contribute to the integrity and transparency in the system that will contribute to the development of an efficient and effective management, reducing the risks that may hinder public administration. The scientific evidence available on the use of the polygraph strengthens the application of polygraph evaluations in personnel selection and recruitment processes, in forensic situations, and provides guidance for future research by scientists interested in the evaluation of trustworthiness.
