Adherence to treatment and quality of life of the patient with hemodialysis therapy at the “Daniel Alcides Carrión” regional hospital - Huancayo, 2023

The present investigation has an objective to determine the relationship between treatment adherence and the quality patient's life with hemodialysis therapy at the Regional Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital's Huancayo, 2023. The method used is hypothetical deductive with a quantitative approach. It is type applied and the correlational design. The sample is 80 patients. The investigation have a census sample, due to the sample and the population are the same. The instruments used are made up of two questionnaires for each variable, then there will be analyzed and systematized. First at all, the acquired data will be reflected in Microsoft Excel tables, thereupon it will be analyzed using the SPSS 25 program.

Introducción: El tratamiento para los pacientes con enfermedad renal suele ser difícil debido a sus necesidades físicas y emocionales, lo cual pueden manifestarse de forma negativa como la ira o el miedo, provocando trastornos psicosomáticos, trastornos del sueño e incluso depresión y ansiedad. Por ello en este estudio tiene como Objetivo: Determinar cuál es la relación entre la adherencia al tratamiento y la calidad vida en pacientes con insuficiencia renal crónica en hemodiálisis del Hospital del Seguro Social Callao, 2024. Metodología: Método hipotético-deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, tipo de investigación aplicada, diseño no experimental, corte transversal y nivel correlacional. Población: Estará conformada por 80 del servicio de nefrología en hemodiálisis. Dos encuestas como técnicas y dos cuestionarios como instrumentos, servirán para la recolección de la información para la investigación, para los cuales se tomará como referente el trabajo de Zapana del año 2023 aplicado a nivel nacional exitosamente. La validación contó también con el juicio de tres expertos quienes aprobaron el instrumento con un valor de 95% para el instrumento 1 y 98% para el instrumento 2. Para la confiabilidad se realizó una prueba piloto con 20 personas para evaluar la fiabilidad del instrumento y el alfa de Cronbach resultó ser de 0,835 y 0.970 para el instrumento 2. En cuanto a la recolección de datos y pruebas estadísticas se contará con el coeficiente de correlación correspondiente a la medición de variable y será por medio de Rho Spearman

Anxiety and depression in older adults with diabetes mellitus and/or high blood pressure who attend the outpatient clinic of a hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2024

Throughout the course of the illness, older people experience a multitude of emotional responses, often manifesting as anxiety and/or depression. A predominant feeling among them is fear of what awaits them: the uncertainty, the potential for pain and the risk of complications that could deteriorate their physical well-being, strip them of their independence or even cause death. In this study we seek to examine the correlation between anxiety and depression among older adults with diabetes mellitus and high blood pressure who attend the outpatient clinic of a Hospital in Metropolitan Lima, 2023. The research will use a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach. Sectional correlational methodology. The complete sample will be made up of 88 older adults. To evaluate our objectives, we will use the Beck Anxiety Scale (BAI) to measure the first variable and the Yesavage Geriatric Depression Scale to measure the second variable. Analysis of the results will involve the use of Spearman's Rho parametric correlation test.

Introduction: Work overload constantly affects normal organizational, physical, mental and emotional health, increasing the probability of burnout, this has an impact on both work performance and the level of patient care. Objective: "To determine how burnout syndrome is related to work performance in the nursing staff of the Pueblo Nuevo - Ica Micro-Network, 2023". Methods: Applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional research. The census sample will be constituted by 80 nurses working in the Microred Pueblo Nuevo Ica, the collection of information for this study was carried out using survey techniques Instruments: Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) adapted and validated by Sarria R, in 2007 was used to measure the first variable and the device used by the author Melani Campos to measure employee performance has been approved by professionals in the sector. According to the qualitative nature of the variables, the data will be processed in SPSS 25 before statistically verifying the hypotheses using Spearman's correlation coefficient.

Burnout syndrome and the work performance of nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit in a national hospital of Callao 2024

Introduction: Excessive workload, high time demands, pressure to meet deadlines and constant interaction with patients and medical staff can generate high levels of stress and emotional exhaustion, therefore addressing burnout syndrome in healthcare personnel is not only beneficial to their individual well-being but can also contribute to a healthier work environment and better overall performance. Objective: To determine the relationship between burnout syndrome and job performance of staff nurses in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a National Hospital in Callao, 2024. Methods: This study is of a practical nature and aims to address a specific problem. It is based on quantitative and correlational approaches and will be conducted at a single point in time (crosssectional). The sample will be composed of all 52 nurses available in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a National Hospital in Callao. A survey consisting of two Likertscale questionnaires, which have been adapted for the target population, will be used. These questionnaires have been validated and have been shown to be reliable in measuring the specific variables under investigation. Once the data has been collected through the survey, SPSS 27 statistical software will be used to process and analyse the data. To test the hypotheses put forward in the study, the statistical test known as Spearman's correlation will be used.

Objective: Determine the relationship between burnout and job performance in nurses from the Intensive Care Unit of the National Heart Institute, Lima 2023. Method: The population will be made up of 80 nurses who work in the ICU of the hospital establishment. In relation to the method, it is a correlational study. The survey technique will be applied and for the measurement of variables, 2 questionnaires will be applied, one for “burnout” and the other for “job performance”. Once the data is available, it will be analyzed using the SPSS 27 statistical program. To evaluate the hypotheses, the Spearman Rho test will be used.

Burnout syndrome and work performance of the nursing staff of the regional hospital - Huánuco, 2023

The objective of this research is to: Determine how burnout syndrome is related to the work performance of the nursing staff of the Hermilio Valdizán Medrano Hospital - Huánuco, 2023. The methodology: methodologically the deductive method is used, non-experimental design, applied type, descriptive level and quantitative approach; The sample is made up of 80 nurses. The survey will be used as a technique and there are two structured questionnaires as instruments according to the indicators corresponding to each dimension. The first questionnaire measures the level of burnout syndrome and the second questionnaire measures job performance, which have adequate validation, in terms of reliability, it was found using Cronbach's alpha where the first instrument had a value of 0.878 and the second instrument had a value of 0.882. To collect data, each participant will have 15 minutes to answer the questions. Graphs and tables will be used for analysis and interpretation using frequencies and percentages. Also, to evaluate the proposed hypotheses, the Rho Spearman correlation was used as an estimation measure, applying a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 5%. This evaluation will be carried out by analyzing a contingency table that involves both variables.

Competencia digital y desempeño laboral de los docentes de un programa académico en una universidad de Lima, 2023

Metodología: El estudio fue hipotético deductivo, cuantitativo, básico y correlacional. La muestra fue de 102 docentes. Para medir la variable competencias digitales se empleó un cuestionario con 21 ítems y para la medición de la variable desempeño laboral se utilizó un cuestionario con 25 ítems; en ambos casos se realizaron los procesos de validación y confiabilidad, obteniendo un coeficiente de Alfa de Cronbach de 0.877 para el instrumento 1 y de 0.816 para el instrumento 2. Resultados: se encontró un rho = 0,822, que indica una relación alta y positiva; así también un valor de significancia (sig. = 0,003) menor al valor correspondiente a la significancia teórica (α = 0,05). Conclusión: existe relación alta y significativa entre las variables competencias digitales y desempeño laboral.

En los servicios de emergencia la Crisis Hipertensiva es uno de los principales motivos de atención, dentro de los dos tipos, las UH predominan sobre las EH. Además de ello, se observan muchos casos de Falsas Crisis Hipertensivas, que de no ser identificadas en triaje del paciente, sugiere un aumento en la demanda de atención, incrementando el tiempo de espera. El estudio busca determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y la capacidad de respuesta del profesional de enfermería ante una crisis hipertensiva en el servicio de emergencias. El método empleado será el hipotético deductivo, enfoque cuantitativo, diseño observacional correlacional. La población de estudio estará conformada por 31 enfermeras que laboran en el servicio de emergencia. La técnica para la recolección de datos será la encuesta y se aplicará dos instrumentos un cuestionario y una guía de observación.

Introducción: Las úlceras por presión son lesiones que generan un malestar en el paciente que pueden complicar su salud además de que genera más costos en la atención de salud. Asimismo el presente estudio tiene como Objetivo: Determinar la relación que existe entre el conocimiento y la práctica preventiva de la enfermera en ulceras por presión en el Servicio de Emergencia. Metodología: Se trabajó con un método cuantitativo, hipotético-deductivo, transversal, correlacional, aplicado y no experimental. Población: Se contó con 200 profesionales de enfermería y como muestra a 132 profesionales de enfermería. Como técnica se utilizará la encuesta y la observación, como instrumento se utilizará un cuestionario y una lista de cotejo, ambos validados y con una confiabilidad de 0.690 y 0.795. Se organizarán los datos recolectados de la muestra, lo que permitirá crear una base de datos en Excel, la cual será procesada en el software estadístico SPSS. Esto generará resultados descriptivos en tablas y gráficos, así como resultados inferenciales mediante el uso del coeficiente Rho de Spearman, para validar las hipótesis planteadas y llegar a las conclusiones del estudio.

Coping strategies and quality of life in the patient with a stoma of the surgery service of the national hospital of metropolitan Lima, 2023

Objective: To relate the coping strategies and the quality of life (QOL) in the ostomized patient in the surgery service of the Hospital San Juan de Lurigancho (HSJL), Lima 2023. Material and method: Quantitative, correlational, non-experimental study, with cross-section. The population and sample will be made up of ostomized patients who come to the HSJL surgery service, who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. For the coping strategies variable, the Brief COPE questionnaire will be used, while the STOMA QoL questionnaire will be used for the CV variable. To obtain the results, the Sperman's Rho parametric correlation test will be applied in the IBM SPSS 25.0 program, while the national and international background and theoretical bases will be considered to interpret and discuss the results.

Coping strategies can be behavioral, emotional or cognitive, they help cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy treatments, to control emotions and to be able to preserve a quality of life in the last stages of the disease. The study aims to "Determine the relationship between coping strategies with quality of life in patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment in the oncology service of a hospital in Lima, 2023". The approach will be quantitative because the variables described can be represented through statistical tables, the type will be correlational and applied; a cross-sectional, non-experimental and correlational design will be used, the sample will consist of 80 people receiving chemotherapy, the type of sample will be census, two validated instruments will be used, a questionnaire for the first variable and the checklist for the second variable likewise, for data processing and analysis: results will be manually entered into Microsoft Excel, and SPSS version 26. likewise, for the hypothesis test, the non-parametric chi-square test will be applied, which seeks to relate two variables, the results will be shown in tables and/or graphs.

Coping strategy and quality of life in cancer patients treated at a national hospital in Cercado de Lima, 2023

In this research, whose objective was "to determine the relationship between coping strategies and quality of life in patients with cancer"; the methodology was based on the hypothetical deductive method, applied with quantitative approach and non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design; The population taken was 80 patients chosen through convenience sampling, who met the inclusion criteria; to whom the survey was applied, with the questionnaires of the Mental Adjustment to Cancer Scale (MAC) (40 items) of Watson et al, 1988), modified by (Trigoso, 2009) (31), to measure the coping strategies and the Functional Assessment for Cancer Treatment scale (FACT-G-4) (31): General (FACT-G-4) (27 Items), Cella et al, 1993, developed to measure quality of life in oncology patients. The data were tabulated with the SPSS 25 program, and the results showed that men have a greater tendency to suffer from this type of neoplasm, which is equivalent to 71.3%; it was found that the disease occurs mostly between 45 and 65 years of age. In general, 57.5% respond with maladaptive strategies, of which 69.6% have a good quality of life, standing out in the dimensions of fighting spirit with 75.8% and Fatalism/Aesthetic Acceptance with 75.6%; whose Spearman's Rho in general is = 0.046, p-value 0.684. In conclusion, it is determined that there is no relationship between both variables, giving the null hypothesis as accepted.

Emotional intelligence in nurses working in a COVID-19 hospitalization service at the National Hospital Dos de Mayo, 2020

Material and method: The study has a quantitative approach, its design is descriptive and cross-sectional, with a population made up of 80 nursing professionals who work in a COVID 19 hospitalization service at the Dos de Mayo National Hospital. The data collection technique was the survey and the data collection instrument to measure emotional intelligence was the Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS-24) composed of 24 items grouped into 3 dimensions. Results: Regarding emotional intelligence in nurses who work in a COVID 19 hospitalization service, low emotional intelligence predominated in 29 participants representing 36.3%, followed by excellent emotional intelligence (32.5%) and adequate (31.3%). In relation to the dimensions, the most affected dimension was emotional perception with a low emotional intelligence that represents 43.8%, followed by the understanding of emotions with a low emotional intelligence that represents 30%. Conclusions: Emotional intelligence in nurses working in a COVID 19 hospitalization service was low. Regarding its dimensions, the most affected were emotional perception and understanding of emotions.

Objective: To determine the relationship between emotional support from nursing professionals and stress coping in oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo in 2022. Methodology: This study adopts a quantitative approach with a correlational design and a descriptive scope. The population consists of patients diagnosed with cancer and receiving treatment at the Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo. The sample comprises 80 patients. Data collection will be conducted using the Lazarus and Folkman Stress Coping Scale, validated by Aguilar, Jimenes, and Calderón (2008). This instrument was validated with factorial values of 0.64 and 0.87, indicating high statistical significance. The reliability, measured by Cronbach's alpha, was 0.87, which is considered optimal. Data Collection and Analysis: The collected data will be analyzed and tabulated using Excel software. The results will be presented in tables and graphs.

The research project aims to: Determine the relationship between the level of ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal disorders in nurses at the regional hospital of Huánuco, 2023. The study population will be made up of nursing staff, which will consist of 60 nursing professionals who work in the intensive care unit. The study method used is hypothetical deductive, applied type of non-experimental cross-sectional design. For data collection, the survey technique will be used and the instrument will be the modified ERGOPAR questionnaire that is validated and reliable. For the statistical analysis, the SPSS program in its latest version will be used and the Microsoft Excel software will be used to present statistical tables and graphs.

Ergonomic risk level related to musculoskeletals disorders in nursing staff of the sterilization center at hospital level III in Lima 2023

The research project will have as objective to determine the relation between the level of ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff of the sterilization Center at Hospital Level III in Lima 2023. The study population will be integrated for the nursing staff it will be consist of 56 workers that labor in sterilization center. The method of employed study will use hypothetic deductive, type applied of design not experimental cross-section. For the collection of data in the variable level of ergonomic risk will use them the technique the observation and the instrument checklist method fast evaluation of the entire body, which was validated in the year 2017, in Lima for Lic. Silvestre Alvarez Jazmin Danixa through judgment of experts giving a significant concordance of p<0.05 and a reliability of 0.853, for the variable musculoskeletal disorders will used them the technique survey and instrument the questionnaire musculoskeletal disorders, which was validated in the year 2018 in Lima for the Lic. Santamaria Yñonan Rosa Mercedes through judgment of experts giving an applicability in 76.6% and the reliability of Cronbach´s alpha giving 0,981 as a result. For the statistical analysis will use them the program SPSS in their last version and the Software Microsoft Excel for the presentation of statistical and graphic pictures.

Objective: Determine the ergonomic risk related to musculoskeletal disorders in the staff of the Sterilization Center, Hospital II-E Banda de Shilcayo - 2023. Methods: applied, quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional study. The census sample will consist of 80 nurses. The survey will be used to apply two Likert-type scale questionnaires adapted by Santa María for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question. The collected data will be processed in SPSS 25 and the hypotheses will be tested using the Spearman correlation coefficient statistical test given the qualitative nature of the variables.

The general objective of this research project is to determine the relationship between ergonomic risk and musculoskeletal disorders in the nursing staff working in the sterilization center of a hospital III-1, Chiclayo-2023. The research population consists of all nurses and technicians working in the sterilization center, a total of 80 people. The study design is a hypothetical-deductive, applied, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The survey technique will be used and the questionnaire will be used as an instrument; for variable 1 "Instrument for measuring ergonomic risk", elaborated by Reynoso D. in Huánuco-Peru, and validated by expert judgment in 2019, with a reliability of 0.733 Cronbach's Alpha and for variable 2 "Instrument on musculoskeletal alterations" elaborated by Santamaria R. in Lima-Peru and validated by expert judgment in 2018, with a reliability of 0.981 Cronbach's Alpha. Appropriate statistical tests will be conducted to confirm the hypothesis. The data collected will be processed and analyzed using the SSPS tool.

Introduction: the most frequent cause of disability in nursing personnel are musculoskeletal disorders, which have a considerable impact on their ability to perform their usual work activities and are associated with intense pain and loss of physical functions. Objective: to determine how ergonomic risks are related to the presence of musculoskeletal disorders in emergency nurses in a hospital General in Jaen, Cajamarca 2023. Material and methods: the study uses the hypothetico-deductive method, is quantitative in approach, an applied observational or non-experimental research, correlational in scope and cross-sectional. The population and census sample will be all the nursing personnel working in the emergency Department of a general hospital in Jaen, amounting to 80 workers. The technique will be the survey and the adapted, validated and reliable instrument to be used will be the modified ERGOPAR Questionnaire. The data collected will be processed and analyzed in SPSS 26 using the CHI CUDRADO test to determine the association of the variables.
