    Adherence to treatment in users of the national health strategy for the prevention and control of pulmonary tuberculosis: José Gálvez Maternal-Infant Center, Lima.

    The objective of this research was to establish the level of treatment adherence among users with pulmonary tuberculosis attending the José Gálvez Maternal and Child Center in Lima. The study was quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. The population consisted of 30 users receiving outpatient treatment in the ESNPCT, and the techniques used were interviews with questionnaires and documentary analysis with checklists. The reliability test yielded 0.48%. The results showed that 50% had medium adherence, 36.7% had low adherence, and 13.3% (4) had high adherence. In the dimension of adherence to the medication schedule and dietary regimen, 46.7% had medium adherence, 40% had low adherence, and 13.3% had high adherence. In the dimension of adherence to medical evaluations, auxiliary exams, and laboratory tests, 76.7% had high adherence, 13.3% had medium adherence, and 10% had low adherence. Finally, in the dimension of adherence to educational sessions, 60% had medium adherence, 20% had high adherence, and the remaining 20% had low adherence. Conclusions: Half of the users exhibited medium adherence to treatment, with a tendency towards low adherence. Less than half of the users showed medium to low adherence in the dimension of adherence to the medication schedule and dietary regimen. Three-quarters of the users showed high adherence to medical evaluations, auxiliary exams, and laboratory tests, while one-tenth showed low adherence. More than half of the users exhibited medium adherence in the educational sessions dimension.

    Breastfeeding techniques and their relationship with mother-child behavioral attachment at the Piedra Liza Maternal and Child Center - 2018

    Objective: Determine the relationship between breastfeeding techniques and mother-child behavioral attachment at the Piedra Liza Maternal and Child Center - 2018. Materials and methods: Quantitative, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional study. 278 mothers who attended the growth and development control service of the Piedra Liza Maternal and Child Health Center during the period October - December, 2018 were included. Results: 92.1% presented adequate breastfeeding techniques; Regarding the position dimension it was 83.5%; grip, 94.2% and suction, 95%. 41.4% of the children showed secure behavioral attachment to the mother and 41% of the mothers showed secure behavioral attachment to the child. The behavioral attachment of the child and mother was secure in 41.4% and 41%, respectively; regarding the look, 41.4% and 41.7%; in vocalization, 54% and 56.5%; in search touch, 72% and 82.7%; in avoidance touch, 68.4% and 75.2%; regarding support, 57.9% and 56.5%; in affection, 57.9% and 53.2%; and in proximity, 61.9% and 61.5%. Breastfeeding techniques were significantly related to the behavioral attachment of the child to the mother (p<0.001) and of the mother to the child (p<0.001). Conclusion: Children with adequate breastfeeding tend to develop secure behavioral attachment to their mother; and mothers with adequate breastfeeding tend to develop secure behavioral attachment to the child.

    Effectiveness of interventions to prevent burnout syndrome in intensive care nursing staff

    Objective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of interventions to prevent Burnout Syndrome in intensive care nursing staff. Materials and Methods: The work was a systematic review. The sample consisted of 10 articles, consulted in databases of scientific relevance in the field of health. Results: 40% of the articles were systematic reviews, another 40% were experimental studies of randomized controlled trials and only 20% were cross-sectional descriptive studies, all provided evidence in favor of the fact that Burnout Syndrome (BS) is preventable through various multidimensional interventions, the same ones that have demonstrated effectiveness in intensive care nursing staff. These SB prevention interventions are focused on improving the environment and environmental culture of the ICU and on helping individual professionals to face their environment in its different dimensions. Conclusions: There is strong, high-quality evidence in favor of the effectiveness of interventions to prevent Burnout Syndrome in intensive care nursing staff.

    Family support and self-care practices of patients with type II diabetes mellitus at the endocrinology clinic of the National Hospital Arzobispo Loayza 2018

    Objective: To identify the relationship that exists between family support and the self-care practices carried out by patients with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus in the endocrinology office of the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital, January-March 2018. Materials and methods: the research has a quantitative, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional approach. The sample was 114 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, made up of 32 males and 82 females. The technique used was the interview, the instrument used was 56 questions, of which 29 were family support and 27 were self-care practices. Results: It was found that 27.19% (31) presented a poor level of self-care, 50.88% (58) a regular level of self-care and 21.93% (25) a good level of self-care, on the other hand for the family support variable 50.9% (35) patients presented adequate informational support and 49.1% (33) patients presented inadequate informational support, and 51.8%(24) presented adequate instrumental support and 40.4%(22) presented an inadequate level. To analyze the relationship between the variables self-care and family support, it was found based on the chi-square test with a value X2=6.04 and a significance value p-value=0.034. Conclusions: There is a significant relationship between family support and self-care practices of patients with type 2 diabetes.

    IMPACTO DEL CUIDADO INFORMAL EN LA SALUD Y LA CALIDAD DE VIDA DEL CUIDADOR DE PACIENTES ONCOLÓGICOS EN EL HOSPITAL DE LIMA. AGOSTO –DICIEMBRE 2018

    La investigación fue cuantitativa explicativa, no experimental, aplicativo, transversal, población fue 166 cuidadores informales; los resultados fueron: Cuidadores informales mujeres de 40 años, los cuidadores son esposos y padres; los cuidadores y no cuidadores presentan más de 3 problemas crónicos (p=0,001); presentan alguna disfunción familiar (p=010); mejor calidad de vida en función física (89,2) rol físico (75,5), dolor corporal (74,3) y peor calidad de vida en salud general (53,6), salud mental (54,6) y los cuidadores informales presentaron sobrecarga intensa el 73,4%; por regresión logística dolor corporal (OR=0,97, p=0,010); OR IC (0,932 – 0,990); salud general (OR=0,96; p=0,010); OR IC (0,932 – 0,990) son factores protectores y función social factor de riesgo (OR=1,03, p=0,013) con OR IC al 95% (1,006 – 1,054); concluyéndose el impacto de la sobrecarga en cuidado informal existe mejor calidad de vida en dolor corporal y salud general en ausencia de sobrecarga que la sobrecarga intensa; y peor calidad de vida en sobrecarga intensa que en la ausencia de sobrecarga en función social; más problemas crónicos en sobrecarga intensa que en ausencia de sobrecarga; mayor disfunción familiar en cuidadores informales que los no cuidadores; por último los cuidadores informales presentaron más problemas de fatiga y dormir que los no cuidadores.

    Lifestyle related to the nutritional status of workers at the Virgen de Lourdes Association Market in the Lurigancho-Chosica district in 2018

    Objective: Determine the lifestyle related to the nutritional status of the workers of the Virgen de Lourdes Association Market in the Lurigancho – Chosica district in 2018. Materials and methods: The present study is a qualitative-quantitative approach with a correlational, non-experimental design. and cross section. The sample consisted of 150 workers chosen by convenience under the exclusion and inclusion criteria. The instrument used was the lifestyle profile questionnaire (PEPS-I) by Nola Pender (1996); and to measure the body mass index, the technical guide for the anthropometric nutritional assessment of adults - MINSA was used. Results: Moderately healthy lifestyle 82.0%, unhealthy 18.0%, moderately healthy nutrition 62.7%, unhealthy 24.0%, healthy 13.3%. Exercise: unhealthy 90.7%, moderately healthy 9.3%. Health responsibility: unhealthy 59%, moderately healthy 39%, unhealthy 0.2%. Stress management: unhealthy 50.7%, moderately healthy 46.7%, healthy 2.7%. Interpersonal support: moderately healthy 70.0%, healthy 25.3%, unhealthy 4.7%. Self update: moderately healthy 61.3%, healthy 38.7%. Nutritional status: 64.7% overweight, obesity 20.7%, normal weight 14.7%. Conclusions: There is a relationship between lifestyle and nutritional status (p=0.000). The exercise, health responsibility and stress management dimensions obtained higher percentages in the unhealthy category, from which it is inferred that the study population does not have exercise habits, demonstrates little responsibility in taking care of their health and has poor management. of stress.

    Quality of life of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis treated at the Mexico and Peru IV Zone SMP health centers - 2019

    Objective: Determine the quality of life of patients with pulmonary TB treated at the Mexico and Peru Health Centers IV Zone SMP 2019. Material and Methods: Quantitative, descriptive and transversal approach, with the population of 51 patients with Pulmonary Tuberculosis. The technique for collecting data was the SF 36 Questionnaire. Results: The sociodemographic data show that age fluctuates between (18 to 78 years); having the average age of 42.43, with males predominating in 70.6% and women 29.4%; followed by occupation: 25.5% are employees, 19.6% merchants; On the other hand, the level of education 54.9% have secondary school, 23.6% primary and 21.5% higher; Regarding marital status, 41.2% are single, 31.4% married, 23.5% cohabiting. Regarding quality of life, we show that the physical component has a better quality of life with 96.1%. But it is worth mentioning that there is better quality in 3 dimensions: physical function 85.5; body pain 78.9 and general health 63.0 and worse quality of life in physical role 46.1; Unlike the mental component, there is a better quality of life in all dimensions, with Emotional Role being better with an average of 87.7. Conclusion: Patients with pulmonary TB have a 96.1% better quality of life in 7 dimensions except for the physical role dimension.

    Self-management and family functionality in patients with type 2 diabetes in the diabetes program at the endocrinology service of the National Arzobispo Loayza Hospital from September to December – 2018

    Material and methods: It was quantitative, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional, in a sample made up of 100 patients; The survey technique was used and the instruments were the Self-Management in Chronic Diseases questionnaire (Parts in Health Scale) and the family Apgar developed by Gabriel Smilkstein. Results: Among the most relevant findings, it was found that 60% presented a regular level of self-management, 26% presented an adequate level of self-management and 14% presented a deficient level of self-management, in relation to the family functionality variable of the patients. , it was found that 42% presented mild family dysfunction, 30% presented moderate family dysfunction, 21% (21 patients presented good family functionality, finally 7% presented severe family dysfunction. found that there is a significant relationship (Sig=0.00 <0.05), positive and moderate (Rho=0.509) between these variables Conclusions: There is a moderate directly proportional relationship between the Self-Management and Family Functionality variables of the patient with type II diabetes mellitus of the service. of endocrinology at the Arzobispo Loayza National Hospital.

    Social support for the treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis attended at the health center Peru Zone III and Peru Zone IV, Lima 2019

    Objective: To determine social support in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis treated at the Centro de Salud Perú III and IV Zona, Lima 2019. Materials and methods: This study is quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional. It was developed with a total of 68 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Duke-UNC-11 functional social support questionnaire was used. Results: We have 68 (100%) patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, whose minimum age was 18 years, maximum age was 42 years, and the average age was 27.7. Of the total, 69.1% (47) are male and 30.9% (21) are female. 57% (39) have normal social support, while 25% (17) have scarce social support, followed by 18% (12) with low social support. As for confidential social support, 47% (38) is normal, followed by 39% (20) with scarce support, and 14% (10) obtained low confidential social support. On the other hand, 59% (39) have normal affective social support, followed by 21% (15) with scarce support, and 20% (14) have low affective social support. Conclusions: The majority of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis have a high level of social support, with a higher percentage in the affective social support level than in the confidential one. It is suggested that health centers establish programs and workshops using techniques that promote the active participation of patients, families, and the community through proper health promotion and prevention to improve the physical health and self-esteem of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis.
