    Burnout syndrome and job satisfaction in the nursing staff of the surgical center of Hospital III Suarez Angamos Lima 2022

    The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between Burnout Syndrome and job satisfaction among nursing staff at Hospital II Suarez Angamos, Lima, 2022. In the healthcare field, a portion of nursing professionals has been affected by occupational stress, which, like job dissatisfaction, is associated with emotional burden, long working hours, and lack of equipment or materials. Objective: To determine how Burnout Syndrome impacts job satisfaction among nursing staff in the surgical center. Materials and Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative, observational, prospective study with a correlational design, as it involves a population of 50 nursing professionals, with a proportional sample of 30 nursing professionals from the surgical center at Hospital II Suarez Angamos. To measure Burnout Syndrome, the Maslach Burnout Inventory, with adequate validity, will be used, and job satisfaction will be measured using a questionnaire by Sonia Palma Carrillo, which also has the necessary validity. The instruments will be administered in person, after obtaining informed consent, and a correlational statistical analysis will be performed.
