    Knowledge and practices on biosafety measures in the nursing staff of the emergency service of a Hospital in Ica, 2024

    Introduction: Knowledge and practices regarding biosafety measures among nursing staff provide a new perspective on the daily panorama in the emergency department. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and the practice of biosafety measures among nursing staff in the emergency department. Methodology: The research will use a hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative and correlational cross-sectional approach. The population and sample will consist of 80 nursing staff members from the emergency department. Survey techniques will be applied using two instruments: a knowledge questionnaire with 20 items and a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.881, and a practice questionnaire on biosafety measures with 20 items and a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.804.
