    Errores de prescripción en recetas atendidas en farmacia central de pacientes hospitalizados del Hospital Regional Docente de Cajamarca, 2020

    The objective of this research was to determine prescription errors in prescriptions filled at the central pharmacy for hospitalized patients at the Regional Teaching Hospital of Cajamarca in 2020. METHODOLOGY: An inductive method was used to study the behavior of each dimension. The research approach was a quantitative analysis, with a basic study type and a descriptive level. The design was non-experimental, as the variable was not intentionally manipulated. The POPULATION consisted of 5,840 prescriptions filled from the Surgery, Medicine, Gynecology, and Pediatrics departments. The SAMPLE was 361 prescriptions, for which a systematic random start sampling method was used. Data was collected by reviewing the prescribed prescriptions. The technique used was a documentary analysis using a checklist. The instruments were validated by expert judgment, and SPSS Version 25.0 was used. Data analysis was performed by calculating the percentages and comparing them with the results from other national and international research to better understand the issue of prescription errors.
