Bullying in students of different educational levels is a very serious problem that is increasing day by day in educational institutions, despite the existence of laws, regulations, resolutions by the governing body in education (Ministry of Education) in the fight against bullying, this is increasing and generating serious consequences such as low self-esteem in students, anxiety, depression, fear, insecurity, poor school performance, absenteeism and desertion and even suicide and death in victims. The importance of raising prevention strategies is crucial in order to educate the student in certain topics such as emotional management, self-esteem, self-control, violence and from there make them aware that violence and aggressiveness do not lead to anything good on the contrary it generates physical and psychological problems both in the aggressor and the victim. The objective of the study is To determine if there is a significant relationship between prevention strategies and the presence of bullying in students of an Educational Institution in Chota, Cajamarca." The research methodology is basic, characterized by its origin in a theoretical framework and its presence therein. The population will be made up of 90 students from the first to the fifth grade of studies at the I.E. Chota, Cajamarca."
