It is of a descriptive non-experimental design with a deductive method. The study will be conducted in the hemodialysis service and outsourced clinics of the National Adolfo Guevara Velasco Hospital in Cusco. The sample will consist of 213 hemodialysis patients. For assessing self-care, a questionnaire adapted by authors Daza, Quispe, and Zegarra will be employed. Data processing will be performed using the statistical software SPSS version 25. To measure the relationship between the two variables, the reliability of Instrument 1 will be assessed using Cronbach's Alpha coefficient with a reliability of 0.98, and the reliability of Instrument 2 will be assessed with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, yielding a reliability of 0.809.
