Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness and safety of intravenous iron treatment to improve hemoglobin levels in anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease during hemodialysis(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-02-17) Casanova Chamache, Rocio Jackelyne; Peñaranda Casildo, Fiorella Elizabeth; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: To systematically review and understand the demonstration of the studies carried out on the effectiveness and safety of intravenous iron treatment to improve hemoglobin levels in anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease during hemodialysis. Material and method: An orderly, observational analysis, based on analytical choice, carried out through the Grade evaluation for the recognition and determination of the level of evidence, found in: PubMed, Cochrane, Scielo, Wiley Online Library, Elsevier, Epistemonikos. Of the 10 studies analyzed in order, they are: 40% (n= 4/10) are systematic reviews and meta-analysis, 10% (n=1/10) are Meta-analysis, 10% (n=1/10) are Randomized trial controlled, 10% (n= 1/10) are experimental comparative longitudinal studies, 10% (n=1/10) are retrospective observational studies, 10% (n=1/10) is a descriptive retrospective study and 10% (n=1/10) is a descriptive review. Based on results found in the systematic exploration carried out in this study, derived from the countries of Canada (10%), Israel (10%), Australia (20%), USA (30%), China (10%) and Spain (20%). Results: 100% (10/10) of the studies found demonstrate the effectiveness and safety of intravenous iron treatment to improve hemoglobin levels in anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease during hemodialysis. Conclusions: Intravenous iron treatment is effective and safe during its administration to improve hemoglobin parameters in anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease during hemodialysis.Ítem Acceso abierto Severity of the disease of the patients and workload of the nursing staff in the intensive care unit in the high complexity hospital - 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-10-31) Casanova Chamache, Rocio Jackelyne; Avila Vargas Machuca, Jeannette GiselleObjective: To determine the relationship that exists between the severity of the patients' illness with the workload of the nursing staff in the Intensive Care Unit in a High Complexity Hospital -2021. Methods: The study is hypothetical deductive, with a quantitative approach, of a basic research type, of a non-experimental, descriptive, correlational, cross-sectional design. The validated instruments will be applied: the APACHE II Scale and the Therapeutic Intervention Rating System (TISS-28), to 30 nurses who work in the Intensive Care Unit in the High Complexity Hospital. Conclusions: In this research project, it will contribute to the knowledge about the relationship between the severity of the patient's illness and the workload that exists in nurses in the intensive care unit, since it has been little investigated at the national level. The results of the study will help develop better strategies for the organization and distribution of nursing staff, thereby ensuring that patients receive complete, humanized, quality care and reducing the workload of nursing staff, always taking into account the attitudes and actions of the nurse.
