    Functional perception and risk of falling in older adults with gonarthross of a national hospital, Abancay-2023

    Falls occur when contextual factors exceed genuine physical and functional abilities to manage balance. Therefore, the integration of various sensory, biomechanical, cognitive, psychological, and social processes is necessary to maintain bodily stability and spatial orientation. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between functional perception and fall risk in elderly individuals with gonarthrosis. An applied, correlational, cross-sectional methodology will be employed, using the "WOMAC Questionnaire" for functional perception and the "Tinetti Scale" to assess fall risk in a population of 80 elderly adults with gonarthrosis.
