Materials and methods: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive and correlational level. The method used was hypothetical deductive. The population was made up of 90 older adults cared for in a primary care facility, Comas. The sample was census, the type of sampling was non-probabilistic, intentional. Results: In the inferential analysis, the statistical test used was the Chi square statistic (X2). To measure family functioning, the Family Apgar instrument was used, comprising 5 items grouped into 5 dimensions (adaptation, participation, gain, affection and resources), and for quality of life, the WhoQol Bref instrument was used, which measures 4 dimensions ( physical health, psychological health, social relationships and the environment) through 24 questions, additionally 1 question is considered on the global perception of your CV and 1 question on global satisfaction with your health.
