The results obtained from the systematic review carried out in the present study come from the countries of England (10%), United Kingdom (20%), Switzerland (10%), China (10%), Spain (10%), USA ( 20%) and Netherlands (20%). Results: Of the evidence found, 70% (n=7/10) indicate that the intervention based on mindfulness is effective in reducing symptoms of depression. Conclusion: the intervention based on mindfulness is effective in reducing symptoms of depression such as ruminative thoughts.
