    Knowledge and practice about nursing care during hemodialysis treatment in the nurses of the specialized unit of the Hipólito Unanue Hospital, Tacna 2023

    Introduction: Knowledge about hemodialysis treatment has been evolving, emphasizing the updating of information and putting updated care into practice during the hemodialysis session. Objective: To determine how the knowledge is related to the practice of nursing care during hemodialysis treatment in the nurses of the specialized unit of the Hipólito Unanue Hospital, Tacna 2023. Methods: applied type research, with a quantitative approach of non-experimental design, cross-sectional, correlational. The census sample is made up of 50 nurses who work in the hemodialysis unit of the Tacna hospital. The instruments that will be applied will be the Questionnaire and the checklist, validated and reliable tools for the measurement of the study variables. Data collection will be processed through SPSS, and the hypotheses will be tested using Spearman's statistical correlation test.
