Ítem Acceso abierto Exercise tolerance and its relationship with pulse oximetry in amateur soccer players of the Peru Cup, Huallaga - San Martín, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-29) Ceron Alejo, Einstein Erix; Chero Pisfil, Santos LucioSince the beginning of humanity, people have engaged in activities requiring intense physical exertion. However, the WHO states that in recent years, mechanization and technology have led to a decrease in physical activity, with future health consequences. Nowadays, there are ways to measure an individual's physical condition, such as exercise tolerance and the body's physiological response to activity. This study will use the 6-minute walk test and pulse oximetry, aiming to propose the relationship between distance traveled and oxygen saturation in amateur football players of Copa Perú, with a population of athletes without prior physical conditioning before an intense football match. Data collection involved equipment such as pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, and stopwatches, along with materials like resting chairs, cones, and a Borg scale chart. This applied study has a quantitative approach with an observational descriptive design and cross-sectional cut, with a population of 100 athletes and a sample of 80 individuals. Data were processed using the reliable SPSS statistical software version 25.
