Such types of values have great relevance in the personal, social, family and professional adjustment of the person. Likewise, intelligence-emotional- is the ability that human beings have to perceive, understand and adapt their emotional states in oneself and in others. This will greatly promote good social relationships incorporating the ability to share and understand what the other person is feeling. The general objective is to determine the level of relationship between interpersonal values and emotional intelligence in the students of the eighth cycle of the professional career of medical technology physical therapy rehabilitation of the University Norbert Wiener, 2018. The type of investigation is hypothetical deductive, the design not experimental, the methodology is basic, substantive and correlational; the study population is census and consisted of 60 university students, between men and women. Regarding the techniques, the SIV questionnaire and the BarOn ICE inventory were used as instruments. For statistical analysis, SPSS version 22 software and Spearman's Rho correlation were used. It is concluded that: There is no direct relationship between interpersonal values and emotional intelligence in university students.
