Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge of continuous positive pressure and practice of the nursing professional in the care of premature in two hospitals in the Huánuco Region -2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-21) Chávez Toledo, Carmen Yanina; Benavente Sanchez, Yennys KatiuscaThe Objective of this study is “Determine the relationship that exists between knowledge of continuous positive pressure and the practice of nursing professionals in the care of premature babies in two hospitals in the Huánuco Region -2024” The hypothetical-deductive study method, with a quantitative approach, application type and a non-experimental design of a descriptive level with cross-sectional - correlational. Its population will be made up of 78 nurses, the survey technique will be used, using a questionnaire designed to evaluate the knowledge of nurses in the care of premature infants with CPAP. The questionnaire covers three dimensions: Technical aspects of CPAP system management, Airway Management and CPAP Management. In addition, an observation guide will be used to measure the nurses' practice in caring for premature infants with CPAP, which consists of three dimensions: Care during CPAP preparation, care during CPAP placement, and Care during hospitalization. This approach will be directed to the target population of the study. Each response collected will be processed using the SPSS V.25.0 program. To test the hypotheses raised in the study, the statistical tests of Spearman's correlation coefficient and Cronbach's Alpha will be used. These analyzes will allow us to evaluate the possible relationships and internal consistency of the data collected in relation to the knowledge and practice of nurses in caring for premature infants with CPAP.
