    Relación entre el estado nutricional y el desarrollo psicomotor en preescolares de la Institución Educativa Integrada N.° 320 Señor de los Milagros, Rímac 2018

    Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el estado nutricional y el desarrollo psicomotor de los preescolares de la Institución Educativa Integrada No. 320 Señor de los Milagros, Rímac 2018. Método: Enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo correlacional de corte transversal. Participaron 110 preescolares. En cuanto a los instrumentos se utilizaron la ficha de registro de peso y talla, las curvas de crecimiento de valoración antropométrica recomendadas por el Ministerio de salud y el Test de Desarrollo Psicomotor (TEPSI). Como resultados: el 30,9% presentó desnutrición crónica y el 12,7% presentó obesidad. En cuanto al desarrollo psicomotor general, se observa que el 60.9% fue normal se obtuvo por áreas, que en el área que presentó mejor desarrollo psicomotor fueron, el área de motricidad con 75,5% y las áreas que presentaron mayor riesgo fue el área de coordinación 38,2% y retraso fue el área de lenguaje 11,8%. Conclusiones: Existe correlación entre el estado nutricional y desarrollo psicomotor, es decir entre el indicador talla/edad y el desarrollo psicomotor se halló relación estadísticamente significativa con un p-valor de 0,000 (p<0,05), y en el indicador peso/talla y el desarrollo psicomotor se halló relación estadísticamente significativa con un p-valor de 0,002 (p<0,05). No se halló relación con el indicador peso/edad.

    Objective: Determine the relationship between nutritional status and psychomotor development of preschoolers at the Integrated Educational Institution No. 320 Señor de los Milagros, Rímac 2018. Method: Quantitative approach, cross-sectional correlational descriptive level. 110 preschoolers participated. Regarding the instruments, the weight and height registration form, the anthropometric assessment growth curves recommended by the Ministry of Health and the Psychomotor Development Test (TEPSI) were used. As results: 30.9% presented chronic malnutrition and 12.7% presented obesity. Regarding the general psychomotor development, it is observed that 60.9% was normal, obtained by areas, that in the area that presented the best psychomotor development were the motor area with 75.5% and the areas that presented the highest risk were the area coordination 38.2% and delay was the language area 11.8%. Conclusions: There is a correlation between nutritional status and psychomotor development, that is, between the height/age indicator and psychomotor development, a statistically significant relationship was found with a p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05), and in the weight/weight indicator height and psychomotor development, a statistically significant relationship was found with a p-value of 0.002 (p<0.05). No relationship was found with the weight/age indicator.
