The study was correlational, quantitative, cross-sectional and observational. The population consists of 67 children. To evaluate nutritional status, weight and height are considered, and for psychomotor development, TEPSI is considered. The results showed, in terms of nutritional status, that 94% of the children evaluated have normal weight, 3% are malnourished and 3% are overweight. In psychomotor development, 94% have normal development in the motor area, 3% at risk and 3% delay. Regarding the relationship between both variables, using the Spearman Correlational Coefficient statistical test, it is shown that there is a low correlation between both variables because Spearman's Rho = 0.265; Of the total preschoolers evaluated, 94% have a normal nutritional status, of these 89.5% show normal motor development, 3% at risk motor development and 1.5% delay. Conclusion, there is a relationship between variable 1 and variable 2. Regarding nutritional status, the majority present normal weight, on the other hand, a minority present malnutrition and overweight. In relation to psychomotor development in the motor area, the largest percentage has normal development, only a small percentage is at risk and delayed.
